This is the website for The Drive Press, a publishing imprint established on Commercial Drive, Vancouver, BC, Canada.
The Drive Press published its first book — “The Drive: A Retail, Social and Political History of Commercial Drive to 1956 ” — in April 2011. “The Drive” is the first in a series of planned publications about the history of Commercial Drive.
The Drive Press’s next publications will be “The Encyclopedia of Commercial Drive in the Twentieth Century” — scheduled for October 2011 — and “The Biography of Buildings” — planned for June 2012. “The Drive to the Millenium,” which brings the first book up to 1999, is scheduled for June 2013.
